自序
这部书是我硕士论文的扩展版,是论文完成后Aj。 Daranee 给我的一个善意的建议,她对学生的鼓励总是那么及时和有力,这让我在论文完成的时候深刻体验到了,我真心的感激她。
在青年的时候能得到有识之士的赞助和提携,这是每一个年轻的作家梦寐以求的,我很幸运得到了这样的机会,在我研究生毕业之际,在我即将走出象牙塔、踏入社会之际。我很明显的感觉到我会因此书而收获更多,因为我以前这样做过,有这样的经验。所以我是怀着一颗激动的心来讲述我想说的这些事情,这些我成长中的经历,以及从人力资源开发专业角度审视我的过往而发现的那些有助我成功的生活细节。
我曾经在初学人力资源开发的时候豪言壮语过:想为中国青年作家做一份发展方面的论文,特别是八零后的作家们,我在这个群体身上发现了很多不同于其他群体的优点,当然也发现了很多作家成长共性的东西,我想为这个群体立个青年传记,就想大作家乔伊斯写《青年艺术家的传记》一样,我曾想研究中国青年作家的成长,无奈我身处异国,没有过多的资源来实现这个愿望。我只能以我自己的亲身体验来阐释作家成长过程中的、在人力资源开发专业眼光下的、一些可以充当研究对象的事件,这个写作完成的时候被Dr。 Ronald 认为的作家生活个案写作,他以一个母语为英语的视角来谈论我的论文,并给予充分的肯定,这使我有了将来要发展英语写作的计划,这也是出于本论文的研究基础上的,也是我作为一个青年作家的发展计划。我说我是作家是有根据的,我有作家证。虽然也在国内和国外的杂志上发表过作品,自己的文字也被翻译成外国的文字,但这些都不足以让我在内心深处把自己当成作家,直到我在这个论文里认真研究了自己,研究了自己的生活,才确定我是一名作家。因为我一直在用作家的视角思考、生活和梦想。在用作家的行为规范(如果有的话;我隐约觉得有这么一个约束)来要求自己,我在完成论文后很明白自己在这条路上应该做什么。
一个作家要有作品出版。这是社会承认作家成绩的一个证明,我的成绩首先是被自己证明的,因为我保持着写作,我在内心知道我会成为一名作家;其次是被家长、师友证明的,他们愿意读我的作品,并期待着我的新作品;再次是被杂志和报社证明的,他们愿意发表我的作品,并且还付给我稿费。但这些都是私密的,不为众人所知的,一个作家要为众人所知就要有标志性的作品,作家的大动作,比如出版一部书,或发表一部影响性大的作品,或作了一个推动人的发展的事情。我的大动作一定是这部书了,我历时一年,从中文写作再到翻译成英文,再到受到导师Dr。 Saratid 的认可,再到Aj。 Daranee的建议出版并资助我出版此书,我在我做一名作家的发展道路上迈出了一大步,我更有信心为下一部作品奠定内心的勇气了。
我的勇气来源于这本双语写作的作品,这部叫《乔伊斯的故事》的书。其实书的全名应该是“作家生活个案写作:一个来自中国的小乔伊斯的故事”,从书名可以看出我写到的故事是关乎作家生活细节的描述,首先乔伊斯这个名字是我为了追随大作家乔伊斯而给自己去的英文名,但在老师的眼里我是一个小乔伊斯,一个中国青年作家。而本文涉及的故事是以我的学习经历:小学记、中学记、大学记和留学记为主线的,本文着重谈论了我的学习经历中的关乎写作的重要事件,包括阅读、写作、讨论和工作等几部分,论文写成了一个在中国文化海洋里畅游的中国青年的故事,受鼓励于中国文化的熏陶,我立志成为一名作家。并一步步的为实现这个理想而奋斗,最后在留学时期,在学人力资源开发课程的时候受到启发从而完成了剖析自己的这部人力资源开发新理论的作品,并受到AJ。 Daranee的青睐和资助,进一步的实现了理想。
我想我是幸运的。或者是我走对了路,选了适合自己发展的路。我在这部书里把我发展的主线标志了出来,这样方便于跟我一样也立志做一名作家的文学青年来寻找他们的影子,我一直努力把我与大众作家相似的事件记述下来,当然也有属于我特性的事件,两者合二为一为探讨我是怎样成为一名作家的主题服务,我是本着能给想了解这些内容的人提供一个佐证的目的来写这本书的,我希望我能达到这个目的。
从人力资源开发的专业眼光来看一个作家的生活,可以以精确的分析来分辨作家的发展,并且还去掉了自吹自擂的嫌疑,我在写作过程中只取了能被事实证明和被理论论证的事件,这样我更有信心的来说我想说的。当然也有这么个嫌疑:为自己的生活找理论依据,并进一步证明自己的活法是有理论根据的。这个问题对于我这样一个青年作家来说是有一定的难度来回答的。第一,我不可能倚老卖老的说我的成功就是这样来的,也应该这样,毕竟我还不老,也没有多少生活经验来和老作家较真;第二,那么作为一个青年作家就不能说出自己对生活的见解了么,答案是肯定的,我们也可以对生活发表见解,甚至还可以对未来发表自己的推论,如果我们有理论依据的话;第三,不管老作家、青年作家还是未来的作家,这不都还没有盖棺定论嘛,所以在“百花齐放、百家争鸣”的方针领导下,我们应该鼓起勇气说出自己的见解。所以在这些理论的支持下,我对自己的青年作家成长经历进行了一次实验性的研究,结果大获裨益。
所以我也热心的把这个成果推荐给大家,一是为了相互学习、相互探讨;二是为了补充个案写作的狭隘,进而推广到青年作家这个群体,进行群体性质的研究是有更大理论价值的。

This book is enlarging on my IS; it’s an output from Aj。 Daranee’s suggestion when I finish my IS; she said that we can publish this book for the special dedication in HRD theory。 She is very kind of encouraging students to do their development; and she is a leader of Teaching English in Second Language Program。 I’m so glad to get her support for my book publishing。
It’s a dream for each young write to get a financial aid when they need them to achieve their ideal。 I’m so glad to get the chance when I graduate and will work as a writer; I think I will get more achievement with this book; because I h*e got more achievement before when I publish my first book; I h*e some experiences。 So I’m exciting to talk about those things; those experiences of my part life; within the view of Human Resource Development theories; to find the useful details from my life。
I h*e wanted to research the Chinese young writers’ development when I learn the Human Resource Development classes; especially for the 80’s writers; I found some merits form those writers; and also found some munions from them; I wanted to write a biography for them; but I h*e not enough information to finish this report because I’m studying abroad; I can’t write like James Joyce to write a book which called “A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man”; I only can research myself to explain the matters which occurred in my past time; which is useful in the view of HRD; which can be a matter in HRD theory。 And I finish it; Dr。 Ronald call my IS: Practicum in writing life experience; Dr。 Saratid call my IS: a story of a little Joyce from China; they all give me many helps and affirmatives; so I plan to write in English in my future; this plan e from this IS; and is a part of the output from this IS; and also is plan of a young writer。
Why I can say I’m a writer? Because I h*e a certificate of the Author Association of Yunnan Provence; my literary works were published in Chinese magazines and foreign magazines; my words were translated in foreign languages; but I think those are not enough to let me as a author in my heart; till I finish this book; what I did in the writing process are some research about me。 I study my life and know I’m an author。 Because I think as a writer; live as a writer and dream as a writer; I live in the writer’s thinking and rules (if there are some rules; I always feel them); I require myself like a writer; those are what I learn when I finish my IS; I know what I should do in this way。
And an author need some publications what the society make sure that you are an author; and my achievement must be this book。 I was proved by myself; I keep writing and I know I will be an author in my mind; second; I was proved by my family and friends; they love to read my literary works and wait for my new works; and next my literary works were published in magazines and newspaper offices; they want to publish my works and pay money to me。 Although those are not enough in my mind; because those are secret and little people know; and I think an author need a big sign for his successful; such as a book; a effective works or matter。 And my big action is publishing this book which I written one year; and translate from Chinese language to English language; and was approved by Dr。 Saratid; and was suggested by Aj。 Daranee to publish; I think I take a big step in my developing way; I h*e more confidences to write the new books in my future。
My confidences e from this double language book; which called a story from a little Joyce from China。 Actually this book should be named as Practicum in writing life experience: a story of a little Joyce from China。 And from this book name we know what I written are about some details of my writing life; first of all; the name of Joyce e from one class when I call myself Joyce for an English name; I follow the famous writer James Joyce’s step in my heart; but I’m little Joyce in my teacher’s eyes; a Chinese young writer。 And this book involve my primary school memories; my high school memories; my university memories and my overseas memories; and the key matters of this book are all about my writing life; and involve reading; writing; discussing and working; I write as a young Chinese boy swimming in the long river of Chinese culture; and I was excited with the fascinations of Chinese culture and determine to be an author。 And I successful step by step; now I get an idea when I learn HRD theories in my overseas studying; I use the HRD theories to analyze myself and finish my IS; then I was provided financial aid by Aj。 Daranee; and get a big development。
I’m lucky。 I choose a right way; I choose an appropriate way。 In this book I marked a key line of my development; to suit for the same young writers who like me; to find their steps in my book; I always work hard to write the similar things among the people life; assuredly there are some special things from my life; I want to use all the parts to prove my idea; I wish I can provide an evidence for the people who want to know those information; I always follow this purpose。 And within those researches I get more。
So I also want to share the achievement with you; for study together; for the enlarging of this writing style。

泰国湾明媚的海域从天边那零散的岛屿开始,向岸匍匐着,波浪朝着岸无休止的奔来,在夕阳的霞光里,仿佛家乡的麦浪,那些金黄的正等着收割的麦田也是这么浮光跃金。在大而无边的气息朝我袭来的时候,不论是帆影下的邦塞海,麦香滚滚的西陵镇原野,还是那山崩地裂的经济危机,我都习惯地闭上眼睛去听这些风潮,是的,眼见的无比缭乱,只有声音会告诉我来袭者的节奏。我在东方大学教育学院五楼顶闭上了眼睛正倾听着的来自邦塞海的风声,与我在睢县高中围墙边听到的北湖的风声不一样,它似乎在酝酿着一次涨潮。
楼顶的安宁,在半空中形成一层笼罩我心头的白云,我想起在云南大学教师公寓一间三楼的客厅的沙发里,在键盘上组织着那些排列在键盘上的无形军队的写作时刻,文字里的那个灵物还在统率着军队、整装待发。一定是这种写作欲望明晰了这个午后的心事,当萨拉提博士谈起我送他的那本散文集,“乔伊斯,你的故乡很美。”他在欣赏《西陵镇》的封面,那帧由书法家程地超先生题字、青年诗人画家孟醒石先生绘画并设计的散文集封面飘着故乡的意蕴:廖淼的水汽在平原上一个村落的上空变幻成墨云,夜带着她的月亮之眼俯瞰着我的故乡,这是土地的某一块皮肤袒露在月光下的当儿形成的一幅画面,树影婆娑,每一座迎着月光的墙壁上都作满了水墨画,正是这些画作倒影出的村庄魅力被孟醒石捕捉到,定格在我的书上,也是程老师那饱满情感泼洒出的“西陵镇”三个大字把这些月光统一了,变成了萨拉提博士眼中的故乡美景。
“乔伊斯的家乡,也许那个爱尔兰作家乔伊斯的故乡也很美,”他爱上了想象似的说。
“你也许会赶得上作家乔伊斯,如果你保持勤奋的写作。你可以把论文当成一次创作的机会,用探讨自己写作经历的方式来做你的论文,这将是一个新的挑战,嗯,乔伊斯,你应该这样做。”满脸络腮胡的萨拉提仿佛在嚼着一块劲道十足的糖果,他坐在教育学院五楼会客厅的茶
